Garden Restaurant Malesice

We designed the garden restaurant and observation tower as the natural center of Malešický Park – a place for meetings, orientation, and relaxation. The longitudinal, maximally open volume of the restaurant defined a new public space, while the observation tower served as a clear vertical landmark with distant views.
The space in front of the building was unified by a simple grid derived from the structures, giving the place order and legibility. The material solution and the gradual "dissolving" of the terrace into the greenery supported the seamless connection of the architecture with the park and the wider area.
