Moravska Trebova Museum Restoration
The existing museum building will undergo a reconstruction loosely based on the requirements for operation, security, and fire protection. The brief was to incorporate individual operational and technological requirements, give them an architectural framework, and resolve the material solutions of individual spaces to create a fully-fledged and representative building serving for the exhibition of collections and objects. The design aims to restore the original appearance of the building with regard to its representativeness.
The main communication spaces will feature poured polished terrazzo, while the main exhibition areas will have oak parquet flooring. Sanitary and operational facilities will use large-format tiles. All interior modifications react to the building's historical values, which were unfortunately devalued over time, aiming to restore its original historical and representative value.
